Fall Beers to Try

Since its introdcution, the Pumpkin Coffee Blonde from Cabarrus Brewing Company became an instant fall classic. Plus, be sure to try this craft brewery’s Oktoberfest-Marzen Style Lager during their annual Oktoberfest celebration. This brew has a rich, deep malt complexity that is balanced by a subtle hop bitterness and an elegant, clean finish.

Pounder from High Branch Brewing Company is wrapped in Carolina Panthers colors, making this Hazy Pale Ale the perfect companion to your gameday snack spread. You also don’t want to miss the stouts from High Branch, including the ever-popular Peanut Butter Baseline Milk Stout.


The Kanntoberfest Marzen is a smooth, malty brew from Old Armor Beer Company that is a must-try when visiting for the annual fall celebration in Downtown Kannapolis. Old Armor’s seasonal releases also include festive flavors like their No Guts, No Glory Pumpkin Ale, brewed with real pumpkin rich brown sugar and a blend of spices including cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and more.
Pair the Mocha Magic from Old Well Brewing with an exceptional meal at 73 & Main in Downtown Mount Pleasant. Aged for one year in bourbon barrels from the neighboring local distillery, this small-batch Imperial Stout balances heat with a smooth, roasty finish and is not-to-be-missed.

At both of their locations, Percent Tap House keeps an array of seasonal brews on tap. Be sure to check their social channels for the latest, but a few to keep an eye out for include The Lovely Pumpkin, a pumpkin pie smoothie sour, and Pumpkin Fresh, a pumpkin cinnamon bun golden stout brewed with coffee, vanilla, cacao nibs, pumpkin, and whipped icing.


The Fiestbier and the Marzenbier from Southern Strain Brewing Company are both Oktoberfest specials that pair perfectly with this brewery and eatery’s fall menu filled with German classics.
