Bost Grist Mill

Built in the early 1800s, this restored mill was the source of flour and cornmeal for southern Cabarrus County residents. Today, the Bost Grist Mill welcomes visitors to be a part of that historic past with special tours, events, and experiences.

On the National Register of Historic Places, this landmark is filled with original milling equipment and artifacts. Enjoy the antiques and watch corn being ground into cornmeal and grits with the same stones and techniques used during the 1800s. Then, take home a bag of high-quality Stone Ground Cornmeal or Grits to prepare at home!

Visit the Event Calendar for more information on special happenings including “Christmas at Bost Grist Mill” and “Touch of Yesterday” events celebrating how life was lived during the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries.
