Harrisburg Park

Recently reopened Harrisburg Park offers over 33 acres to enjoy!

Open dawn to dusk, this ADA accessible park features mountain bike and walking trails, an 11,000 square foot playground, 10,000 square foot seasonal splash pad with interactive water play amenities and slide, horseshoe pits, corn hole courts and so much more.

The 9-hole disc golf course at Harrisburg Park begins and ends around the wooded trails adjacent to the parking lot above Field #1 located in the South East section of the park. The course also utilizes a portion of Harris Depot Park. Discs are available to borrow at the Harrisburg Parks & Recreation Office.

Home to a 2,200-square-foot amphitheater with a 20-foot film screen and 100,000 square foot lawn, Harrisburg Park also hosts many of the town’s special events including the annual July Fourth Celebration and Rockin’ the Burg Summer Concert Series.

The park is certified by the National Wildlife Federation as a wildlife habitat, and the Harrisburg branch of the Cabarrus County library system is located just inside the park entrance.
