Marvin Caldwell Park

Marvin Caldwell Park is a 24-acre community park in Concord featuring athletic facilities for tennis, baseball/softball, football and basketball as well as a variety of amenities for visitors.

Open dawn to dusk, the park offers two playgrounds, horseshoe pits, skating circle, restrooms, and walking trail which is a segment of the Carolina Thread Trail. The Marvin Caldwell Park Trail is 0.3-miles one way and provides an easy, paved surface for walkers and runners to enjoy along the banks of the Irish Buffalo Creek.

The park is also home to reservable shelters, the Daniel Pharr Community Building, and Robert Mathis Amphitheater.
