Several NASCAR race shops in Cabarrus County and the surrounding area welcome guests year-round— and that’s great news for fans visiting during any season. On select days ahead of Coca-Cola 600 race weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway, visitors can experience these stops in a new way during special fan events.
When the season schedule brings teams back to “Where Racing Lives,” many of them host special appreciation events for fans at their home base.
The Fan Day Experience
What’s a Fan Day like? While the experience is different at every shop, you’ll find an array of exciting sights, sounds and things to do. Connect with your favorite sport and get an inside look at the racing experience with activities like autograph sessions and campus tours. Past events have also featured fun photo opportunities, cars on display, food, giveaways and more.

Hendrick Motorsports Fan Fest
Friday, May 22 – Saturday, May 23, 2026 – Concord
Hendrick Motorsports will once again welcome fans to the organization’s storied campus from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Friday before the Coca-Cola 600 and from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. that Saturday. Stay tuned to Hendrick’s channels for further details on Fan Fest!

Hyak Motorsports Fan Day
Thursday, May 21, 2026 – Harrisburg
Located just minutes from Charlotte Motor Speedway, Hyak Motorsports (formerly JTG Daugherty Racing) will host Fan Day fun on May 21 from 1-4 p.m.
Details are pending but in previous years, the team hosted an afternoon of festivities where attendees had the opportunity to meet driver Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. and see the car he drove to victory at the 2023 Daytona 500. Race shop tours, snow cones, hauler tours, and giveaways were offered as well.

RFK Racing Fan Day
Friday, May 22, 2026 – Concord
Save the date: Fan Day is returning to RFK Racing, too! As we eagerly await details for this year’s event, take a look back at alI the fun when fans toured the shop, tried out a driving simulator, took part in autograph sessions, and met NASCAR champions Brad Keselowski and Chris Buescher and Daytona champion David Ragan. Food trucks, live music, and interactive displays added to the festive atmosphere.

Fan Day at Trackhouse Racing
Friday, May 22, 2026 – Concord
For the first time ever, Trackhouse Racing will be welcoming race fans for a Fan Day leading up to the Coca-Cola 600. Fan will have the opportunity to score autographs from their favorite drivers and get unprecedented access to “The House.” Keep an eye on the team’s social accounts for more announcements.
