For Your Safety and Peace of Mind When Visiting Cabarrus County, North Carolina

Much has changed since the pandemic began, but the well-being of our visitors and community remains our highest priority.

COVID-19 Update

As of 5 p.m., July 30, 2021, there are no restrictions or measures imposed by executive order for the general public. Review the current restrictions and recommendations in North Carolina here.

The Cabarrus Health Alliance (CHA) has issued a Public Health Advisory to all residents and visitors, regardless of vaccination status, to wear masks indoors or in crowded outdoor areas where social distancing is not possible.

Some locations in Cabarrus County have adjusted their hours and operations. Be sure to call before visiting to confirm the most up-to-date information.

Educated travel decisions are extremely important during this time. We’ll continue to share relevant resources from trusted partners here to best assist you.

Visitor Information Center

The Cabarrus County Visitor Center, located at 10099 Weddington Road in Concord, is open Monday-Friday from 8:30am to 5pm. We are also available via email at Hey@ExploreCabarrus.com or by phone at 800-848-3740.

Rest assured that when you arrive, you’ll find we’ve taken important steps to stop the spread of anything but helpful information and hospitality. To help protect everyone who walks through our doors, we’ve implemented enhanced cleaning practices and have completed North Carolina’s COVID-19 training, Count On Me NC.

Count on Me NC

Count on Me NC helps to ensure everyone’s safety through a mutual commitment. Along with training for restaurants and other hospitality businesses, the initiative includes a promise to uphold the highest health standards and asks guests to do the same.

Look for this logo on storefront windows, name badges and menus across the area. Then, be at ease when enjoying a meal, trying a new craft beverage and partaking in all that Cabarrus County has to offer.
