Day 1: Brown Mill Trail & Downtown Concord

The City of Concord’s first mountain bike trail is a must-ride! This intermediate trail is 4.25-miles and features a mix of hand built and machine cut trails with dips, berms, jumps, switchbacks and a gravity cavity. Open from dawn to dusk, the Brown Mill Mountain Bike Trail is also open to run or hike.

Afterwards, hop in the car or back on your bike and take a short ride to Downtown Concord. This historic district offers several spots to sip a cold one, have a hearty meal, shop locally made wares, and be entertained with the whole family.

Stroll downtown to find a storied ice cream shop, arcade bar, Cuban cuisine, handmade leather goods, cat café, an escape room and so much more! Right off of Union Street, Southern Strain Brewing Company and in-house Hot Box Next Level Kitchen are the ultimate match for small batch beer and globally inspired dishes.

Day 2: Rocky River Trail & Harrisburg Half

Both located near Harrisburg town center, these two trails can be covered in one day for double the fun! Or opt for the one that best suits your skill level. Rated intermediate/difficult, the Rocky River Trail is 14.3 miles of fast downhills, chunky technical terrain, and the area’s toughest climbs while Harrisburg Half is a half-mile loop consisting of a short climb, switchbacks, and doubles. Located at Harrisburg Park, plan to enjoy the Harrisburg Half Trail any time of year or coordinate your schedule to include a special event such as the “Rockin’ The Burg” concert series.
