SEA LIFE Charlotte-Concord Aquarium
SEA LIFE Aquarium is an underwater world full of sparkling scales, towering tentacles, super sharp shark teeth, and FIN-tastic creatures!
Journey through the state’s freshwater lakes all the way to the depths of the ocean. Visit a small part of the Catawba River and come nose to nose with creatures that live nearby. Continue your underwater adventure and meet even more creatures who live in everything from harbors and shipwrecks to coral reefs! Prepare for astonishingly close views of over 5,000 creatures including seahorses, jellies and schooling fish.
Then, step beneath the waves in the aquarium’s 180° underwater Ocean Tunnel where tropical sharks, graceful rays and Neptune the rescued green sea turtle, glide overhead. To get any closer, you’d have to get wet! Feeling brave? Touch a crab or chocolate chip sea star in the Interactive Touchpool!
