All dirt roads lead to Concord, North Carolina

If you’re visiting for the World of Outlaws World Finals this weekend at The Dirt Track, you’re in for a weekend full of heart-pounding, clay-slinging action! This Charlotte Motor Speedway show is unlike any other, bringing together the top series in the sport, including the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and the Big-Block Modifieds of the Super DIRTcar Series.

Whether you’re here for a single day or you snagged the three-day pass, here are a few helpful hints on how to enjoy your time at the lightning-fast, four-tenths mile oval and beyond.

What is the schedule of events?

On Thursday 11/2, grandstand gates open at 4pm and opening ceremonies kick off at 6pm. On Friday 11/3 and Saturday 11/4, grandstand gates open at 3pm and opening ceremonies are at 4:45pm. For all the details, see the full schedule here.

Where can I stay?

What else is there to do around Concord?

Challenge your crew to a few races at K1 Speed! This indoor electric karting facility just announced the Concord Supertrack with 15 corners and fast back straight. Before the action starts on Saturday, swing by Downtown Concord (just 15 minutes from the track) for local brews, a spicy snack and live music at the Hops & Heat Beer and Chili Festival.
