Consider Cabarrus County for Your Big Day

Just minutes north of Charlotte in North Carolina’s piedmont region, the favorable climate and southern charm here are ideal for ceremonies any time of year. To help envision you happily ever after, here are four venues suited perfectly for each season.

The Top Wedding Venues in Cabarrus County

Spring

The Saratoga Springs is a wedding venue located in the quaint town of Mount Pleasant. Set on 22 acres of grounds including a garden for ceremonies, this venue offers the Southern Fairytale Package complete with outdoor ceremony site, a horse-drawn carriage for the bride’s arrival and the bride and groom’s departure, and a four-hour reception with tents, centerpieces and an in-house event designer.

Summer

The Oaks Events is a beautiful lakeside venue located in Midland. It offers limited lodging in the property’s event house and weekend wedding packages to create a little getaway for your guests. There are also tons of great options on-site for your wedding portraits including the event house, gazebo, open fields and a dock by the lake. If you envision a laid-back, rustic or lakeside wedding, this is the venue for you.

Fall

Ritchie Hill is a newer wedding venue, but the home itself is rooted in deep history. Built in 1906, the home sits on more than four acres in Historic Downtown Concord, offering a beautiful Southern Victorian period-correct wedding venue with modern finishes. After serving as a home for four generations, the house underwent renovations in 2014 and opened as a venue in March 2015. Some amenities include a covered 1,800 square-foot front porch with ceiling fans, wood-burning fire pits with an outdoor seating area, and market-style outdoor string lights.

Winter

Located in the Downtown Concord Historic District, The Hotel Concord is one of the area’s oldest hotels with a grandiose art deco ballroom. This is the venue for couples who live for the glitz and the glamor of the Great Gatsby era and swoon over vintage chandeliers dripping in crystal. It’s also a good pick for those looking to have a large wedding since the space can accommodate up to 450 guests.
