Just up I-85 from Concord Mills, R&R Bar-B-Que mixes up the traditional pork plate with chicken and ribs and fried corn on the cob. And you don’t want to miss their homemade banana pudding for dessert!

Q’s and ‘Cue in Kannapolis
At Atrium Health Ballpark, the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers celebrated barbecue in a big way! Their alternate identity, the Kannapolis Q’s, returned for home games on April 25-27 paying homage to North Carolina barbecue and as a tribute to the city’s renowned “Jiggy With The Piggy” festival. This Kansas City Barbeque Society sanctioned event took place in downtown on May 2-5 in 2024 and also featured family-friendly entertainment, concerts, and plenty of delicious food to enjoy. Stay tuned for the 2025 dates!
Couldn’t make it to a Q’s game? The Ballers also have home games on May 7-12, 14-19, 27 and 29-31. Grab lunch or dinner from any of the mouthwatering barbecue restaurants across Cabarrus, then head over to root for the home team! Baseball fans will also find plenty of delicious barbecue and other ballpark fare from onsite concessions.
